DELE exam preparation

People pass the exam by handling its format, not by knowing the language. That is what we train.

DELE is the official diploma of the Instituto Cervantes. It never expires and it is accepted for citizenship, university admission and work in Spain. Failing it is rarely about the language: candidates lose points on timing, on the structure of the written task, and on not understanding what the examiner is asking for.

So the preparation starts from the format: we go through each paper, write and speak to the official marking criteria, and run full papers against the clock. Lessons are taught by a native Spanish speaker qualified in teaching Spanish as a foreign language.

Common questions

How early should I start?
One level usually takes three to six months of regular work. If your exam is less than two months away, the next session is often the wiser target.
Do you guarantee I will pass?
No, and nobody honestly can: the result also depends on your work between lessons. We are responsible for the preparation, the format and the feedback against the criteria.
Which levels do you prepare for?
A1 to C2. We establish your level in the first lesson - sometimes it turns out you are ready for a higher one than you thought.
I need the exam for citizenship. Is that the same DELE?
Spanish citizenship requires DELE A2 or above plus the CCSE test on culture and society. We prepare the language part and explain how the CCSE works.
